Choices...we can fly with a limited amount of clothing due to high baggage checkin fees, invasive searches, pay the high prices for meals, snacks, and tips several times a day, hotel fees and surcharges and airfare. Or, we can pack at our leisure, whatever we want and leave whenever we want without sitting on a runway for possibly hours on end. Even with fuel costs, RVing is a much more cost effective option of traveling if you take into account bringing some groceries and fixing a few meals on the road, reasonably priced lodging at scenic state and privately-owned RV parks-fully loaded with clubhouses, pools, and laundry facilities.
